🚆 Stores Operative – Brighton

Great opportunity for experienced Stores, Warehouse, Automotive, Bus, Aerospace or Manufacturing candidates!

We’re currently recruiting for Stores Operatives to join a busy rail depot in Brighton, supporting the smooth running of train maintenance operations.

💷 Pay & Hours

• £18.91 PAYE + £2.65 holiday pay = £21.56 per hour
• All shifts paid at the same rate
• 40–50 hours per week
• Days, nights & weekends
• Weekly pay

🔧 What You'll Be Doing

You’ll play an important role in ensuring engineers and maintenance teams have the materials they need to keep the depot running efficiently.

Your duties will include:

• Receiving and dispatching goods
• Storing and organising stock
• Updating inventory systems
• Preparing and assembling material kits
• Stock checks and inventory control
• Manual handling and general warehouse duties
• Keeping stores and stock areas organised and tidy

⭐ No Rail Experience Needed!

Rail experience is not essential. We’re keen to speak with candidates from a range of backgrounds, including:

If you have good attention to detail, are comfortable working shifts and enjoy a hands-on role, this could be a great opportunity to get your foot in the door of the rail industry.

All successful candidates will need to complete a medical and drug & alcohol test before starting. We arrange this as part of the recruitment process.

Please note: the nearest available clinic to Brighton is in Central London, so candidates will need to be able to travel there for the assessment.
