Stores Operative

A well established Engineering company based on the South Coast is currently recruiting for a Stores Person to join their team in Fareham.

 

As Stores Operative you will be solely responsible for the stores department and you will be responsible for;

• Picking, collation and presentation of stock parts to the workshop staff for assembly
• Ensuring that all Goods-in paperwork is present and correct
• Updating systems accordingly for all parts entering and leaving the Stores
• Creating packaging and labelling that is required for products to be shipped
• Ensure all parts are ready for shipping to include; rustban, sealing, boxing, labelling
• You will maintain a clean, tidy and orderly stores department
• Dealing with all deliveries to include tube and bar supply
• Receiving and checking all goods-in arrivals to specification sheets and delivery notes

 

What you will have;

• Previous experience in an Engineering stores environment
• You will have an enthusiastic and can do attitude
• Excellent communication skills and able to work collaboratively with the team
• Ideally you will have experience of ERP/MRP systems

 

They offer competitive salary circa £28,000 plus 22 days holiday (increasing with Service), Life Assurance, Profit share scheme, Contributory pension.
