Project Manager Central Southampton
A leading company in the professional services sector is currently recruiting for a Project Manager to join the team due to a phase of strategic transformation.
The project manager will be central to ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope and to highest quality standards.
What you will be involved in;
- Develop and maintain project plans, schedules and budgets
- Manage resources, timelines and deliverables to ensure projects meet agreed objectives
- Apply Prince2 (or equivalent) methodology and tailor appropriately for projects
- Ensure adherence to project governance framework
- Identify and engage stakeholders and prepare and present progress reports internally
- Proactively identify risks and develop mitigation strategies
- Lead cross functional project teams
- Capture lessons learned and contribute to improving project management practices
What they are looking for;
- Proven track record of managing projects in a professional services environment
- Strong understanding of project governance, risk management and stakeholder engagement
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Able to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Prince 2 certification or equivalent (e.g APM, PMQ, PMP)
They offer salary circa £40,000 - £48,000 plus, 25 days holiday (increases with service) and option to buy holiday, Pension, Free parking, working hours 35 per week with flexibility.
