Project Manager – Maintenance projects Stratford upon Avon
A leading company in the Rail sector is recruiting for Project Managers to work on heavy maintenance projects at a state of art facility in Stratford upon Avon.
They are seeking results driven project managers to join the team working on various maintenance projects on Rolling Stock from inception through to completion.
As Project Manager you will be involved in;
- Responsible for the successful delivery of improvement projects and ensuring they are delivered on time, to budget and excellent quality
- You will lead and manage assigned project and undertake regular project reviews internally and with the customer to monitor project performance as well as reporting KPIs
- Liaising with production management and teams to delivery rail refurbishment, overhaul and repair activities to the customer specification and delivery timelines
- Engaging and liaising with external third party suppliers, on site customers, visitors and other stakeholders to ensure on time project delivery and visibility
- Working with other internal departments to ensure project delivery
What you will be doing;
- Previous experience running maintenance projects, ideally in Rail or alternatively Maintenance projects within other heavy Engineering will be considered.
- Ideally you will have a Project management certification i.e. Prince2, PMP or similar
- You will have a good project management background particularly around engineering maintenance projects
- You will have a Mechanical or Electrical Engineering background or hold City and Guilds, NVQ or BTEC in Engineering discipline
- Experience working with customers and stakeholders is required
- You will have full project lifecycle experience
