March 16, 2020
ClemtechnewsWe understand that people may be concerned regarding the spread of Coronavirus in the UK, with developments happening daily these are certainly unprecedented times and it seems likely we will all experience some affect to our daily routines and work activities. The purpose of this communication is to provide accessible information regarding the virus and also reassurance regarding the contingency measures Clemtech have put in place to ensure our contractors can continue to access our services during this unfamiliar period.
HEALTH INFORMATION
HM Government advises the most common symptoms of Coronavirus are recent onset of a new continuous cough and/or high temperature.

WORK INFORMATION
HM Government have also provided practical guidance with information designed to assist Employers, Employees and the self-employed, further details can be found at:

CONTINUED ACCESS TO CLEMTECH
We can reassure contractors that measures have already been implemented to minimise the spread of the virus and any adverse effects to our business, ensuring we can continue to operate as normal, meaning you can access our payroll and work finding services.
Practical measures include the deployment of technological solutions which enable our staff to work remotely but have continued access to our secure IT infrastructure and telephony, meetings with clients via digital conferencing rather than face to face, the postponement of non-essential travel, an increase in the cleaning regime for our office and communal spaces and regular updates to our own staff regarding hygiene best practice from the NHS.
PRACTICAL CONSIDERATIONS
As we have all seen through the media news updates, the nature of this new illness means developments may happen rapidly which of course could result in practical measures recommended by HM Government being enacted quickly, perhaps affecting access at depots or travel restrictions.
Please be assured we are in communication with clients regarding the coronavirus to ensure the health & safety of all workers but would encourage you to contact us immediately should you have any concerns regarding your current assignment. If we receive any specific client organisation updates, we will of course communicate these as soon as possible, alerting by SMS text and email.
On a practical basis we would request that if you are affected by coronavirus, either directly or indirectly, or have to self-isolate then as a priority please contact both your client line management and the Clemtech office to advise of your absence.
In the case of self isolation please advise the first day of your isolation; at the end of the isolation period (as per the NHS guidelines in place at that time) please do not return to a work assignment until you have contacted the Clemtech office. We will then liaise with the client, informing you of any specific requirements and confirm the date you can return to site.
