We understand that people may be concerned regarding the spread of coronavirus in the UK, with the introduction of the local covid restriction tiers, the rise in cases and the roll-out of the vaccines, it’s likely we will all experience some aﬀect to our daily routines and work activities.
The purpose of this page is to provide accessible information regarding the virus and also reassurance regarding the contingency measures Clemtech have put in place to ensure both our contractors and clients can continue to access our services during the pandemic.
The NHS advises the most common symptoms of Coronavirus are:
- a high temperature
- a new, continuous cough
- a loss or change to your sense of smell or taste

CONTINUED ACCESS TO CLEMTECH
We can reassure contractors and clients that measures were implemented at the beginning of the pandemic, helping to reduce the spread of the virus and minimise any adverse eﬀects to our business, ensuring everyone can continue to access our payroll, work ﬁnding and recruitment services.
Practical measures include the deployment of technological solutions which enable our staﬀ to work remotely but have continued access to our secure IT infrastructure and telephony, meetings via digital conferencing rather than face to face, the postponement of non-essential travel, an increase in the cleaning regime for our oﬃce including regular anti-virucidal fogging, the installation of multiple hand sanitiser dispensers, social distancing markers, partition screening, one-way systems, and rotating ‘bubble’ teams where required to attend the office.
The changes in working practices have now largely become the ‘norm’ which means we have the inbuilt adaptability and flexibility to switch from an ‘office based’ to a ‘home based’ workforce (vice versa/or hybrid) with little or no notice. We have also fully embraced technological solutions for client and contractor engagement, including a new CRM database and for meetings, interviews, assessments on-line platforms such as Teams, Zoom and Skype.
As we have all seen through the news updates, the nature of this virus means developments may happen rapidly which of course could result in practical measures and restrictions recommended by HM Government being enacted quickly, perhaps aﬀecting access at depots or travel restrictions.
Please be assured we are in communication with our clients regarding the coronavirus to ensure the health & safety of all contractors but would encourage you to contact us immediately should you have any concerns regarding your current assignment. If we receive any speciﬁc client organisation updates, we will of course communicate these as soon as possible, alerting by SMS text and email.

On a practical basis we would request that if you are aﬀected by coronavirus, for example, developing symptons or testing positive for COVID-19 or a member of your household has developed symptons or you have been advised to self-isolate by NHS Test and Trace then as a priority please inform both your client line manager and Clemtech.
We’re in this together and by working together, being conscious of our own health and of those around us, with regular review and adherence of HM Government guidance we can all help to reduce the impact of coronavirus upon our daily activities.
