We are looking for a Desiro experienced First Line Rolling Stock Technical Support Engineer for the purpose of managing in-service failures and serious incidents on Rail network.
The Rolling Stock Technical Support Engineer will be required to
Manage and co-ordinate main line defects, failures and serious incidents.
Record and report all information relevant to operational safety incidents and accidents, as well as any service defects and failures in a detailed and efficient manner.
As the role is based at the customer site, you ‘ll need to maintain a professional image and develop good relationships to ensure opportunity for future business.
HNC qualified in electrical or mechanical engineering OR have the equivalent experience
Able to complete all records of actions and operations accurately and to procedures
In possession of an advanced knowledge of IT systems and software and have good communication, planning and organisational skills
