Rolling Stock Technical Services Engineer needed to improve productivity, reliability growth and safety management both within the depot facility and for the fleet operation.
if you have
3 years or more experience in a traction and rolling stock engineering environment
Relevant Engineering qualification
Knowledge of planned maintenance processes and repair of rail vehicle systems
Current clean driving licence

The key components of the role require you to
Be responsible for implementing recommendations from the investigations, including improvements to maintenance documents, fault-finding guides and train modifications.
Development of component or system trials
Development of engineering change including changes to the maintenance plan or component modification.
Manage safety through analysis of rolling stock performance,
Management of technical risks,
Provision of recommendations arising from technical investigations.
Provide a range of Technical Services
Produce understandable maintenance documentation,
Offer technical advice,
General problem solving
The Rolling Stock Technical Services Engineer will conduct technical investigations into issues highlighted by Production, Quality and the in-service experience to support the continuous improvement of the fleet with respect to safety, customer satisfaction and reliability.
If you have a knowledge of IT systems, including Windows, Word, Excel, and bespoke database systems used within a maintenance planning environment coupled with a good knowledge of rules and regulations, applicable to DC EMU rolling stock.
