Role : Locomotive Technician

Area : North West London

Shift : Alternating shift, days and nights

Information on the Role :

• Ensuring that fleet is serviced and maintained.
• Undertake test runs to assist in fault finding and resolution of faults
• Carry out Testing & Re-Commissioning activities
• Review and rectify test specifications and documentation for functional tests.
• Provide on train fault diagnosis/rectification for units in service and investigate technical problems as instructed by ESG.
• Assist with the validation of documentation issued in support of maintenance and repair activities, special checks, modifications and experiments.
• Assist in the validation of Maintenance Schedule amendments and other technical instructions.
• Assist in the testing and repair of equipment identified as faulty and removed from trains.

Role Requirements :

• NVQ level 3 for the equivalent area (Mechanical & Electrical)
• Previous experience working on Locomotives.
