Assistant Project Manager
Assistant Project Manager Job in Milton Keynes needed to support the project manager with the planning, managing and delivering the project from concept through to after sales service, in order to deliver high levels of customer satisfaction and maximum margin/value, ensuring the required elements of high standards regards, quality, cost and delivery in a structured manner.
The Assistant Project Manager is required to
Review resource requirements and the plan for the project and support their development and delivery.
Plan projects (in conjunction with the site planning function) from start to finish, with built in contingencies. To ensure that the project plan contains clear milestone deliverables aligned with the contracted agreement.
Support risk management and to deal with all aspects of the project scope.
Support the project is in its delivery ed within the financial requirements of the Business Unit and constantly review opportunities for betterment of return.
Ensure work is carried out to required quality standards
Support the management of project scope and manage the variation process to minimise unsecured work.
Work closely with the Key Account Manager to understand the business requirement for the project.
Ensure projects meet industry leading quality standards and legal requirements.
Prepare project presentations and compile reports
Identify any further risk or opportunities as they relate to the specific project or additional customer requirements.
Effectively communicate relevant project information to all stakeholders.
Undertake any other tasks which the Project Manager deems necessary to support the project delivery.
