History

The original brainchild of Adrian Clements, Clemtech was formed in April 1998.

After many years working at senior levels in blue chip Technical recruitment and Engineering, Adrian identified an opportunity in the technical engineering recruitment market for a company that specialised, not just in core transportation sectors but also by offering a more personal approach to recruitment, in essence by concentrating on quality of service rather than quantity.

Those guiding principles were embraced by our clients and quickly saw the company grow to encompass full UK and continental European supply; this approach and innovation was recognised at the HSBC Rail Awards in 2003.

As a result of this success the Clemtech Team also grew, meaning a move from our original offices in Portsmouth to larger premises just outside the City; to this day all members of the Clemtech Team are selected not just on their experience and skills but also their ability to uphold and promote the same core values that have underpinned the success of the company since 1998.

In 2011 we are proud to say that we continue to be a leader in the industry, evolving our services to provide not just traditional recruitment models but also working with our clients on flexible, innovative solutions for today’s economic marketplace.
